You've Got A Heart As Loud As Lions So Why Let Your Voice Be Tamed?

This is just a quick post to share my new bikini with you all as I love it! I don't think i've actually been swimming for something crazy like 5 years so I obviously need to find something to wear as i'm hoping to start doing a bit more exercise and i'm also going on a few little holidays soon. I'm really really picky when it comes to things like this so I headed to ASOS where I knew there would be a really good selection of swimwear to choose from. I ordered 4 bikinis in a variety of different styles and prices in the hope that i'd find one I felt comfortable in.

I fell in love with the Ted Baker Bikini as soon as I put it on; it comes in a really nice print, is good quality and fits really well. I really like the adjustable straps on the top and I find that its more flattering than the other bikinis that were all halterneck. It was the most expensive out of all the ones I tried but i'm happy to pay a bit more for something that I know i'll wear a lot and feel happy in.
I also really like this Ted Baker Swimsuit which i'm hoping might go into the sale so I can buy it for the days i'm not feeling as confident about wearing a bikini too.

You've Built Your Wall So High That No One Could Climb It

I like fake tan; I don't use it religiously but it's nice to wear it on nights out when I don't want my legs to look ridiculously pale! I thought i'd review a few of the ones i've tried recently as it's getting closer to summer and it might be helpful for anyone looking to try a new one :)

 St Moriz Mousse
This is the fake tan that i've been using the longest; there was a lot of hype about it a few years ago so I bought a few bottles and I really like the colour that it gives. I've never tried a high end fake tan as I don't really think it's worth it as I don't wear it often enough and it seems like a waste of money when you're washing it all away in the shower! St Moriz is super affordable and fairly easy to apply. It's also really buildable so you can make it as dark as you want and it develops into a nice natural colour.

Boots Soltan Mousse
This is the newest fake tan that i've bought as it was on offer and I thought it was about time I tried something different to St Moriz. I read some good reviews before I bought it and I was really happy with the overall result. It develops into quite a dark tan but after washing it off it looks really nice and lasts a bit longer than St Moriz so i'd really recommend it.

Garnier Summer Body
I've been using this for a few years and i've seen it in lots of favourites posts recently too. I have found that my skin does react to it and I sometimes get a bit of a rash on my arms when I use it but it hasn't really put me off. I know a few other bloggers have had the same problem but for the low price and natural tan that it gives I think it's worth the trouble!

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan
I bought this after seeing my flatmate wearing it and I really liked the colour it gave. As it's wash off I only wear it if I know it's not going to rain although i've worn it on nights out and had drink poured down my legs which isn't a good look! I've got it in medium which is quite dark and I also accidentally bought the shimmery one but I still like the effect it gives and it's good when you don't have time to wait for your fake tan to develop.

Ain’t Got The Perfect Smile Don’t Turn Heads On My Street

I saw this on Katy's blog and as a bit of a nail polish addict I thought i'd give it a go as I haven't shared many polishes from my collection recently on my blog.

I want to say this is my current nail polish collection but i'd be lying as this isn't all of them! I should probably start wearing some of them a lot more as I tend to stick to the same few colours. I store them in a tin that I got from a perfume gift set as it's really strong and lets them all stand up easily.

1. What's your favourite nail polish company?
I'm in love with Max Factor's Minis at the minute but it's definitely between them and Model's Own as they both have amazing colour ranges and I like the formulas too.

2. Glitter or no glitter?
Taking glitter off is a nightmare but i've been loving adding it to one statement nail or over the top of some of my favourite colours :) I need to invest in a new glitter polish as my Model's Own one is getting a bit old and sticky!

3. OPI, China Glaze, or Essie?
I've never tried China Glaze but i'm more of a fan of drugstore brands anyway. I like OPI's formulas and the shape of the brush but they are quite expensive - I love the names of the polishes though! With Essie I really like the cute bottles and the colour range; i've got a matte neon pink which I love wearing, especially on my toes :)

4. When do you change your nail polish?
I usually change it when it's chipped but I don't usually let it get too bad as i'm a bit of a perfectionist. Normally it's once a week if I can get away with it but it depends on the polish i've used and if I like the colour i'm wearing.

5. What's your favourite colour on your nails?
I tend to wear pinks and pastels as they usually go really well with what i'm wearing. I don't really have one particular colour that I like the most although I used to wear Model's Own Peach Puff a lot!

6. Darks or Brights?
I tend to stick to brights and rarely wear darks unless it's a dark pink or plum although i've seen a few people pull off black nails recently so i'm tempted to give it a try. I like wearing bright colours as they can really brighten up an outfit too :)

7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?
I'm currently wearing the much coveted Fantasy Fire by Max Factor although I should probably change it as it's getting quite chipped!

8. Matte Nails - In or Out?
I haven't got my hands on a matte topcoat but I have a matte neon pink by Essie which I really like. If anyone wants to recommend me a matte topcoat that is reasonably priced i'd be really grateful :)

9. French Manicure?
I wear one occasionally when my nails are in good condition but I prefer them to be reasonably short so I don't always have enough room to paint tips on. I think they can look really sophisticated if you shape your nails nicely :)

10. Favourite Winter Colour?
For winter I prefer darker colours especially dark reds and plum colours like Nails Inc's Piccadilly Circus or Hampstead Heath. I also get a lot of wear out of nude colours in winter as I stick to brighter colours over the summer.

We All Want To Be Giants

I dont really know why but i've never used Carmex before. A lot of my friends use it and i've tried it but it's not something i've ever thought about buying; I do have far too many lip products that need using up so that's probably why as I haven't bought any in a long time!
I was sent a few Carmex products and thanks to my life being a little bit hectic i've been trying them out for a few months. I've finally found the time to sit down, take some photos and blog properly which has been nice!

Classic Carmex
I think this is the product that Carmex are most well known for and I can see myself using it a lot especially in winter. It gives your lips a really simple sheen and has a minty taste which makes your lips tingle when you first use it. I can see this little pot lasting me a while so at less than £3 it's definitely worth the money.

Strawberry Carmex
I really like the consistency of this as its a bit like a clear lipgloss and is good if you've got dry lips and want them to have a bit of a shine. I've been using it lots in the recent hot weather as it has SPF15 and gives them some protection from the sun. I really like the Strawberry flavour and I found that it was also nice to use on nights out when I didn't want to wear a lipstick.

Carmex Moisture Plus - Peach Sheer Tint
Out of the three this is my favourite as it acts as a lip balm but adds a bit of colour which is good when you don't want to wear a lipstick. I really like the Peach flavour and it's quite soft and easy to apply. I've been wearing it day to day but also for nights out and although i've used it a lot it doesn't seem to have used a lot of the product. The Peach flavour is nice and isn't really strong which I liked and for less than £5 I can see myself repurchasing it again.
